It is extremely gloomy in today. The sky is grey and the weather damp and chilly.

I'm not sure what is going on with the Polaroid. The rollers may be dirty... or I may have mishandled the print. Who knows. This was shot #2 of 8 in the pack. We'll see what happens with the rest of the pack.

Two spires of Saint Paul's Catholic church rise up into the sky, framed by crisscrossing wires and streetcar powerlines. The sky is grey-white and the church is dark and forbidding. Along the lower edge and left corner, there is a problem with the pictures -- bubbly blobs of emulsion and undeveloped splots mar the pictures. The overall feeling? That of a monochrome print from a really bad camera. Actually, make that a print that was also stored for 70 or 80 years in a moldy shoebox.
