I am begging everyone to learn that what we’re in now is standard time and if you want to complain, you are not complaining about daylight saving time.
If you hate this right now, you hate STANDARD time.
@Bronwyn I love the fact that it’s now daylight when I get up in the morning.
@ELS I am the opposite but I just want people to complain correctly. I am seeing oodles of posts hating daylight saving time, which we are no longer in!
@Bronwyn It’s the shift that I hate, so I can understand why folks are hating on DST, which is why we must endure the shift. I also prefer noon to be at noon, but I could live with noon always being at a different time if we just didn’t have to do the shift.

@Bronwyn I think people are mostly complaining about the concept of dst but yeah this is a good point
the way I remember which is which is that the other time zone in England is "British Summer Time" which means the weird one must be during the summer
