Cotter Dam on the Cotter River west of Canberra. After the drought and fires of the previous decade, the dam wall was raised to store more water to future proof Canberra's water supply.
During construction it rained heavily for months and created cracks in the concrete that had to be repaired at great expense. This is the end result. It has a brutalism feel although not really architecture I guess.
Not my best photo, for some reason all my shots are not level although I do try. I can't pass them all off as special effects.
