Inspiral Carpets - “Joe” (1990)
From their EP “Cool As ****” which was my introduction to this band.
I have fond memories of their particular version of the “Madchester” sound, with its energetic blend of organs, synths, and distorted guitars.
Lately I've been revisiting this EP, their first LP, and the single “Commercial Rain”.
