Sometimes biking is slow - It took us an hour to travel 2 miles today. But only because after picking plums at a friend’s house, we decided to pick up a pizza to to take home.
We had lots of excess plums, so we stopped when we saw a different friend to give them some plums. While handing off the plums, three people asked us if we were looking for the peacock.
Peacock? A minute later, we saw a peacock on the sidewalk and had to take a look. Our friend ran inside his house to get the rest of his family out. We went back to our bikes to ride home but then my partner saw a running buddy jogging by.
We rode next to her while she ran for a few blocks until we saw another friend, who had just finished a bike ride with friends.
We distributed a few more plums and finally made it back home to eat the pizza.

Anyway, biking is a very social activity, and though we were pretty hungry by the time we got home, I’m glad riding bikes allowed us to have such an interesting evening! #BikeTooter #Cycling #Bicycling
