@ai6yr Some of that is perspective and they have run a C-17 through there so It gives you and idea of the size. Here are down canyon shots of an F/A-18 and a Fouga Magister down canyon from May 2019

Imagine seeing a pair of legs off the back of the cargo ramp.... what a ride!!

I imagine if you went back in time to the era when nearly everyone smoked and nearly everyone sneered at seatbelts, you could find a picture of someone dangling their legs off the cargo ramp of an aircraft running that canyon, presumably haning onto the ramp extension strut.
