I am a 40-something white guy who lives in suburban Silicon Valley. I grew up in the Chicago Public Schools. I am married, with two sons, and a house. I volunteer on Sunnyvale's Planning Commission in order to increase the amount of housing and the quality of active transportation infrastructure in my town.

My Day Job is as a "DevOps" SysAdmin at a local startup. I also spent some years at Cisco IronPort, Transmeta, and Tellme.

I love squirrels but this is the third time since we bought the house they've eaten the neutral line and caused our electricity to go wonky. Fortunately, PG&E has always been nice about fixing this.

If I were Elon Musk, and I wanted to be less of a douchebag, I think I would ask Mark Rober to show me the way. Retire from Tesla, build the coolest maker space, be the star of my own YouTube channel. Misgender squirrels.

"After many months of negotiations, we have finalized legislative text that will invest approximately $300 billion in Deficit Reduction and $369.75 billion in Energy Security and Climate Change programs over the next 10 years," the senators said in a joint statement. "The investments will be fully paid for by closing tax loopholes on wealthy individuals and corporations."
