@godsouza Few would sign up to be "transit captives", especially to a system that is slashing service.
The other problem is that this would make the rest of us "car captives" because driving to the commuter rail station would no longer be possible as you want to eliminate all the parking. We can't walk 5 miles to catch a bus to the train, so we would be forced to drive all the way into the city.
@andytiedye Car captive and declining transit already describe who we are. Making those traits also characteristics of the transit corridor causes other public policy goals to fail in favor of #PetroOligarchs.

You would make us even more car-dependent if you make it impossible to drive to a transit station. Then the ONLY people who can use transit at all are those who live very close to a station.
