Freshly rebuilt Southern Pacific (SP) "GP9R" 3740 leads the 3741 at the West Oakland Homestead Yard in on an unknown date (after 10/18) in late October 1972. The tower behind it is Magnolia Tower which handled the SP/WP crossing.
