Harro JanszPoles I love landscapes like this. Lines of poles running into the sea; what's not to like? Couple that with a nice sunset and I'm a happy person. While beaches like this are normally associated with the Dutch province of Zeeland, I know of a spot in Noord-Holland that has these poles, too. Harro JanszRocky Beach After days of wanting to go, yesterday evening I finally actually got the chance to go to the beach. I opted for Schoorl, one of my favourite beaches in the Netherlands. These rocks always offer a nice foreground. Harro JanszRügen The white chalk cliffs on the edge of Jasmund Nationalpark on Rügen, Germany's largest island, are a sight to behold. Especially during a beautiful sunrise like this. It was nothing short of mesmerising to be a witness of this moment. On my own, no less.
