Tom<p>The Comice pear, the oldest Gravenstein apple, an early blooming peach grown from seed, and the Harcot Apricot. I saw quite a few apricots blooming when I was out and about today. The Japanese type plum here is a couple of warm days away from starting to bloom and it doesn't look like it's died much more. It's more than 50 years old.</p><p><a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/gardening" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>gardening</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/GrowYourOwn" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>GrowYourOwn</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/orchard" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>orchard</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/FruitTrees" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>FruitTrees</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/apricots" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>apricots</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/pears" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>pears</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/apples" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>apples</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/HarcotApricot" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>HarcotApricot</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/ComicePear" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>ComicePear</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/GravensteinApple" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>GravensteinApple</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/PeachBlossom" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>PeachBlossom</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/garden" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>garden</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/April5" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>April5</span></a></p>
Bhavani Shankar 💭The flower that looks like broccoli is kind of cool - but I don't know what it's called. We just call it grass. 😆<br><br><a class="hashtag" href="https://fe.disroot.org/tag/bloomscrolling" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#bloomscrolling</a> <a class="hashtag" href="https://fe.disroot.org/tag/wildpeach" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#wildpeach</a> <a class="hashtag" href="https://fe.disroot.org/tag/apricots" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#apricots</a> <a class="hashtag" href="https://fe.disroot.org/tag/grass" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#grass</a> <a class="hashtag" href="https://fe.disroot.org/tag/himalayas" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#himalayas</a>

Canned 12# resulting in 10 pint jars plus a tiny bit extra. Froze 3 1/2# of apricot halves (for eating or further canning) &amp; kept 1 1/2# just for eating along w/the 3 pounds of peaches.</p><p>Still tons of fruit -- cherries, apricots, peaches (mostly white) &amp; strawberries -- available for picking but the stone fruit won&#39;t last much longer and most (exept for the strawberries) will probably be gone by the end of June/beginning of July.</p>
