One of the plastic <a href="https://sfba.social/tags/monitor" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>monitor</span></a> tube mounting posts is broken and it did not turn on but might just be a fuse. Been sitting in the attic for a long time. I salvaged it from the university of <a href="https://sfba.social/tags/minnesota" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>minnesota</span></a> <a href="https://sfba.social/tags/CosmicRay" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>CosmicRay</span></a> lab when they shut it down 35 years ago. It was used to <a href="https://sfba.social/tags/bootstrap" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>bootstrap</span></a> a <a href="https://sfba.social/tags/PDP" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>PDP</span></a>-11 <a href="https://sfba.social/tags/computer" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>computer</span></a> by typing in several lines of assembly to bring up the main <a href="https://sfba.social/tags/OperatingSystem" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>OperatingSystem</span></a>. I'll see if I can get it working again or may be repurpose/retrofit it as a modern computer monitor. They offered me the PDP-11 at the time also but it was too big for me to retain.</p>
