Spain tackles housing 'social emergency' as rents double.

The Spanish government is moving to make renting more affordable and boost the supply of homes.

While salaries have increased by around 20% over the past decade, the average rental in Spain has doubled during the same period. There has been an 11% increase over the last year alone and housing has become Spaniards' biggest worry.

Our bills have gone up and up and up. The politicians claimed this was because of Covid, then war in the Ukraine but interestingly they never blamed Brexit. Now our prices will go up again with tariffs given the blame. It's all excuses as apparently no bad news is ever because of the actions of our politicians.
