Daniël Franke :panheart:I honestly can't see how Odo was ever forgiven for his actions when the dominion occupied DS9, let alone actually getting into a relationship with Kira.Because he was having changeling sex, he let Rom get caught, and he literally said that it didn't matter because he was fucking a changeling.How did Kira, who is in my top 3 Star Trek characters ever let that go, let alone take him as her partner.I think Odo is a great character with a lot of nuance, and Rene Auberjonois portrayed him amazingly, but I just don't think he's really a good person. John HardenThe scene was more than just a random moment I wanted to include. It was setting up an expositional dive into how replicators work, b/c the episode hinged on it. OK here's the pitch: An antimatter torpedo, powerful enough to obliterate the station, pops out of the wormhole from parts unknown and attaches itself to DS9. It hacks the station's main computer and forces all the replicators onboard to start making copies of itself. The station starts filling up with bombs. John HardenI didn't watch Star Trek: Deep Space Nine when it aired, so I'm watching them now. In S4 E19 Molly puts the dirty dishes from dinner back into the replicator and zaps them away. I jumped up off the couch and yelled "FINALLY!" I'd been waiting to see a <a href="https://sfba.social/tags/StarTrek" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#StarTrek</a> character do that since the 1990s.
