Isaac Watson<p>As with most large scale outdoor art installations it’s really hard to capture the scale or experience in a photo. If anyone is visiting the Coachella Valley in the next few weeks I highly recommend checking them out. Desert X has a free app you can use to locate and learn more about each installation. <a href="https://apps.apple.com/app/id1450319034" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" translate="no" target="_blank"><span class="invisible">https://</span><span class="ellipsis">apps.apple.com/app/id145031903</span><span class="invisible">4</span></a> </p><p>(Edit: there is an Android App as well available on their website)<br><a href="https://mstdn.party/tags/desertx" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>desertx</span></a> <a href="https://mstdn.party/tags/palmsprings" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>palmsprings</span></a> <a href="https://mstdn.party/tags/coachellavalley" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>coachellavalley</span></a></p>
Isaac Watson<p>We saw 7 of the 9 installations and they were mostly fantastic. A few will be fun to revisit at different times of the day (or even at night). One kinda fell flat despite sounding interesting in description. I do wish we’d seen them with fewer people milling about but I think most of them will stick around for quite a while so we can venture back once the festival is done. <a href="https://mstdn.party/tags/desertx" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>desertx</span></a></p>
