i added LOTS of patches to my waist pouch and brought it along thinking i’d need it for outfits without pockets. turns out i’m just wearing it all the time for the great convenience of storing my face mask! it’s something i frequently take on and off whenever we pop indoors and out.

@Herbivore Oh my gosh, I’m stunned to learn how this industry operates. Now I think back to the one handknitted Norwegian sweater my grand folks brought me age 12 from their travels there. I loved that sweater so much, with angora yarn knit into the yoke design. Never had something angora again but now what I know about this, I definitely will avoid it.

fiber arts friends - I have another friend who's interested in getting back into spinning. she's shopping for fiber, and I want to direct her to cool folks to get fiber from! she's currently using a drop spindle, and looking at kick spindles, so is also interested in second-hand / cheaper ones.
