Gladwyn d’Souza<p>Multiple articles in response to the immolation try to paint the deputies as compassionate, highlight how there was an Uber outside waiting to take the Gouldings to their temporary housing, and evade the foundational violence of this event. Taking away an elderly person’s home is immensely violent.
