Our #Constitution lays out the qualifications for individuals who want to be elected to the #Senate, #House and #Presidency. It includes age, citizenship or residency, etc. It does include not being an #insurrectionist by stating that one is barred from holding office if they "... have engaged in insurrection or rebellion against the same, or given aid or comfort to the enemies"
If the #SupremeCourt decides to disregard that section and not uphold our constitution then any of the other requirements should also be disregarded.
Vote Midterms Republicans will never vote to solve border problems. Ever.
So, let me get this straight: The Senate has reached a BIPARTISAN border deal, but “Speaker” Mike Johnson just said he refuses to even consider it. NONE of this is President Biden’s or Democrats’ fault. This is all on Republicans & it’s beneath contempt. They simply don’t care.
Again, REPUBLICANS AND DEMOCRATS reached a bipartisan border deal. But this is how Mike Johnson decided to respond. They aren’t engaged in any serious policy making whatsoever. It’s all revenge politics & it’s revolting.
They need to have something to run on. The economy is doing well. Jobs are growing.
If they allow efforts to address the border issue to pass, Republicans lose their main talking point.

This is astounding. Not surprising that #MagaMike Johnson and the rest of his #insurrectionist, fascist cabal thinks this, but astounding that an elected official would actually say this out loud: “We are blurring the faces of people who committed crimes because we don’t want them identified and prosecuted.” Translation - take up arms against the government, MAGA, we’ll protect you from the laws you are breaking.
