Thanks to everyone who showed up at the Pioneer Courthouse Square to speak and support Intact Global announcing the Hadachek v. Oregon challenge that fights to expand genital autonomy rights to all children including boys, men, and intersex children.

# Hadachek v. Oregon Intact Global 2025 Press Conference
Please let me know if you find more news coverage on this. We at the Genital Autonomy Collective spoke about intersectionality at the Intact Global 2025 press conference and hopefully some of the news will also mention that. The Hadacheck v. Oregon case will expand opportunities for trans, intersex, and gender diverse people in ways that more people need to be aware of. Circumcision impacts gender affirming surgery options, and impacts our freedom as well, and we're fighting with the broader genital autonomy movement for our shared rights.

An excerpt from my speech:
"Genital cutting is often talked about in the categories of male, female, and intersex, but those categories are not distinct in reality. People inherently defy those arbitrary boundaries. Because of this, many of the children assigned male at birth and subjected to penile circumcision, or other childhood genital cutting, are transgender, intersex, and otherwise gender-diverse
... Circumcision, by removing genital tissue and creating scars, physically limits options for adults seeking genital surgery. This stands in the way of our freedom to make the choice for ourselves as adults just like it does for boys and men. With attention and advocacy opportunities the challenge is bringing, The Genital Autonomy Collective is in need of more volunteers to help. Intact Global is also looking for Intersex plaintiffs who have experienced Intersex related genital cutting in Oregon at any date to add to the Equal Protection Challenge against forced, non-religious genital mutilation. As well as trans plaintiffs who have experienced penile circumcision in Oregon to add to the legal challenge.

Interpłciowość. Czym jest? Jak się z nią żyje w dzisiejszych czasach? Co jest krzywdzące dla osób interpłciowych? Czy interpłciowość występuje w naturze? Czy to to samo, co niebinarność?

Interpłciowość (ang. intersex) - termin określający naturalną różnorodność w budowie ciała. Nie można ich jednoznacznie określić jako kobiece lub męskie. Oznacza to, że część narządów osób interpłciowych jest żeńska, a część męska lub też ich narządy nie są ani męskie, ani żeńskie.

Interpłciowość niestety nie jest klasyfikowana jako płeć, co oznacza, że rodzice przy urodzeniu wybierają płeć, jaką wpiszą dziecku w dokumentacji. Może być to dysforyczne dla osób interpłciowych, ponieważ mogą one nie czuć się związane z płcią przypisaną im przy urodzeniu.

Jeszcze bardziej krzywdzący może być proces determinacji płci. O ile coraz łatwiej jest zmienić oznaczenia płci w dokumentach, o tyle fizyczna zmiana płci wiąże się w wielu krajach z dużym wydatkiem i nie każdy może sobie na to pozwolić. Dysforia jest w takiej sytuacji jeszcze większym zagrożeniem.

Nazywanie osób interpłciowych “hermafrodytami”, “eunuchami”, “obojniakami” a co gorsza “transwestytami” jest bardzo stygmatyzujące. Podobnie nazywanie interpłciowości zaburzeniem rozwoju płci. Dyskryminacja na różnych płaszczyznach może przyczynić się do zaburzeń lękowych czy też depresji.

Jeśli uważasz, że interpłciowość nie występuje w naturze, to mam dla Ciebie ciekawostkę:
* niektóre interpłciowe zwierzęta: brzuchorzęski, nicienie, małże słodkowodne i morskie, pijawki, dżdżownice, tasiemce, ślimaki lądowe, ostrygi, krewetki, hiena cętkowana;
* niektóre interpłciowe rośliny: sosny, świerki, dęby, buki,
brzozy, pszenica, jęczmień, niektóre gatunki fiołków.

Also Daffy Duck is now canonically trans and/or intersex. He lays eggs while still identifying as male and explicitly comments on how hard it is to lay eggs as a male duck.

Eine absolut großartige TV-Sendung von 1989 aus den USA. Interessant vor allem wegen "Toby", inzwischen besser bekannt mit dem echten Namen als Jim Sinclair.

Sinclair ist intergeschlechtlich und erklärt nichtbinär - "I remain openly and proudly neuter, both physically and socially" Quelle. Ausserdem autistisch und in dieser Richtung seit den 1990ern ganz besonders aktivistisch unterwegs. Das kommt in der Sendung noch nicht so raus. Etwas deutlicher wird, dass Sinclair auch asexuell ist.

Ich bin absolut beeindruckt, wie klar und schlagfertig Sinclair alles beantwortet. Auch die Nachfragen dieses Psychiaters, der hartnäckig wissen will, wie Sinclairs Chromosomen sind. Sinclair: "Wenn ich ohne Augen geboren worden wäre und Sie mir sagen, 'ja wenn du welche hättest, dann wären sie grün', welchen Unterschied würde das machen".

Fünf kurze Teile, alles englisch, ich hab es sehr gefeiert. So weit war es schon mal 1989. Leider leider sähe das heute immer noch nicht viel anders aus.

I am some cishet people's only source of queer/trans education and I want to add some external resources for intersex education by the actual community.

The clinic is letting me pay at a later date! Still in need of $160 to cover it all. Meds are taken care of for the time being, this will cover the rest of the appointment. Please help, I need to be able to continue treatment to stay alive and healthy and be able to work on my game.
