@JackTheCat Keir Starmer's wife, Victoria, is Jewish, they have relatives in Israel, and the couple's kids are being raised in the Jewish tradition/religion. It's pretty clear from Keir's policies vis a vis the Gaza genocide, the whole family is Zionist.

If only there were some way for the government to have more money coming. If only our nation were able to raise more money to pay for things, like the living wage. If only they could find extra money to make other things cheaper and help people and businesses thrive - but alas I think that’s impossible- there simply isn’t another way ….. Hang on !!!!!

... and, of course, the woeful approach of #LabourParty's current leadership is predicated on a mistaken idea about the supply of sovereign money. They think "tax and spend" when the truth is found in answering the question, "where does the money to tax come from?" -The government creates it and puts it into circulation. So it's really "spend and tax". They could spend it into circulation by supporting first the most vulnerable and marginalised: helping them participate in society and kicking of a circulation of money into the economy. In turn this helps start up the economic activity that produces prosperity for communities.
