Benji Mauer<p>I’m deeply enraged by the lack of native language support for Haitian Creole on iOS and Android. On iOS, though it does the right thing and provides Haitian Creole as a top level language (ht), it’s basically a localization of French, not transliterated Haitian Creole. On Android, even though Haitian Creole is an ISO language code, it’s not even an option. You can only select French, then a localization for Haiti. How can I select Esperanto but not Haitian Creole? <a href="https://social.coop/tags/languageaccess" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>languageaccess</span></a> <a href="https://social.coop/tags/racism" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>racism</span></a></p>
League of Women Voters of SF<p>Multilingual ballots are critical for democracy — they help more people be confident voters!</p><p>Bonus: English +1 means any ballot can be used by English-speaking voters, reducing how many ballots need to be printed and saving $$$. And this way, all ballots are auditable in English.</p><p><a href="https://lwvsf.org/vote" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" translate="no"><span class="invisible">https://</span><span class="">lwvsf.org/vote</span><span class="invisible"></span></a></p><p><a href="https://sfba.social/tags/SanFrancisco" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>SanFrancisco</span></a> <a href="https://sfba.social/tags/SFBA" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>SFBA</span></a> <a href="https://sfba.social/tags/SFBay" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>SFBay</span></a> <a href="https://sfba.social/tags/SFElections" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>SFElections</span></a> <a href="https://sfba.social/tags/Vote" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>Vote</span></a> <a href="https://sfba.social/tags/Democracy" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>Democracy</span></a> <a href="https://sfba.social/tags/SFpol" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>SFpol</span></a> <a href="https://sfba.social/tags/GOTV" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>GOTV</span></a> <a href="https://sfba.social/tags/Election" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>Election</span></a> <a href="https://sfba.social/tags/Election2024" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>Election2024</span></a> <a href="https://sfba.social/tags/VotingRights" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>VotingRights</span></a> <a href="https://sfba.social/tags/VoteReady" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>VoteReady</span></a> <a href="https://sfba.social/tags/LanguageAccess" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>LanguageAccess</span></a> <a href="https://sfba.social/tags/EveryVoteCounts" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>EveryVoteCounts</span></a> <a href="https://sfba.social/tags/BeAVoter" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>BeAVoter</span></a></p>
