Gladwyn d’Souza<p><br />The <a href="https://sfba.social/tags/UnitedNations" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>UnitedNations</span></a> has adopted a landmark resolution that seeks to hold countries <a href="https://sfba.social/tags/accountable" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>accountable</span></a> for failing to respond to the <a href="https://sfba.social/tags/climatecrisis" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>climatecrisis</span></a>, while protecting more <a href="https://sfba.social/tags/vulnerable" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>vulnerable</span></a> nations.  It was opposed by the US, &amp; introduced by students in the <a href="https://sfba.social/tags/LowLying" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>LowLying</span></a> nation of Vanuvatu and Solomon Islands which will be submerged by <a href="https://sfba.social/tags/SeaLevelRise" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>SeaLevelRise</span></a>.
