Ellie Kennard PhotographyOld Cape Spear Lighthouse, Newfoundland<br> <br> We didn't have a car on our only trip to NFLD, but we did manage to get in a bit of sightseeing thanks to a student of Steven's. My father's family came from a tiny community, Greenspond, but I didn't manage to get there to see it. Newfoundlanders are such hospitable, kind people, as I think many people found when 9/11 happened and US planes were forced to land in Gander airport for safety.
