tobestool<p>Exciting times, <a href="https://mastodonapp.uk/tags/Openreach" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Openreach</span></a> were here today to do the necessary groundwork to connect us to the fibre that's been in our street but unavailable since September 2022!</p>
j5v<p>I'm currently debating how I can improve my wait for fibre Internet. I was given a 2-week date for installation, which got postponed **two months** this week. The fibre junction is just outside my property, so infrastructure is there.</p><p>2023, my comms is stuck in 2006, so I expressed interest in fibre, and two services said they'd let me know. They didn't, and I've been having to overpay for a service I couldn't receive, while it was available.</p><p>Do I have the energy for this?</p><p><a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/UK" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>UK</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/OpenReach" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>OpenReach</span></a></p>
Gary Parker :party_porg:<p>I can almost smell the FTTP goodness at the end of my driveway. Sadly, this is <a href="https://cyberplace.social/tags/openreach" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>openreach</span></a>, not <a href="https://cyberplace.social/tags/cityfibre" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>cityfibre</span></a>, but I’ll take whatever I can at this point to get off <a href="https://cyberplace.social/tags/verminMedia" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>verminMedia</span></a></p>
