The familiar 16-digit number is going away to be replaced by a 'random number' that is created each time you want to pay for something.</p><p>I like the extra <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/security" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>security</span></a> - no credit card number to steal - but what about convenience?
