AppleTalkDespite their recommendation, the <a href="https://sfba.social/tags/Peel" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#Peel</a> Thin MagSafe case for iPhone 12 Mini does NOT fit in the <a href="https://sfba.social/tags/Backbone" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#Backbone</a> One game controller (V1) PS Lightning.#1 it’s too thick. This can be solved by taking the silicone pads off the Backbone. Perhaps the non-MagSafe version is thinner. #2 the Lightning port opening is too small, it won’t sit flush enough for a solid connection. Seems like I’d need to cut the hole bigger. The plastic is pretty rigid, probably need a Dremel.Debating whether to mod it or return.What Backbone really needs is a super thin case with a totally open bottom edge. FYI for the 2 other people on the planet who might care! 🤓
