Mal ernsthaft: ich dachte ich hätte das Fediverse verstanden, aber offenbar nicht.
Ich kann von Mastodon aus keine Bilder finden, auf meinem #Pixelfed Account.

Pixelfed findet nicht alle Bilder zu einem Such # in Mastodon , sondern nur ein paar.
Hab dann beide Accounts sich gegenseitig folgen lassen, aber ich kann, wenn ich dann von hier aus auf meinen PF Account sehe, KEINS der dort geposteten Bilder sehen.

Ich hab in PF alle auf öffentlich suchbar gestellt.

bin ich doof?

Hab mir jetzt einen Workaround angewöhnt, wenn ich in #Pixelfed ein Bild anklicke oder auf einen Account gehen will, den ich ich in einem Feed sehe, damit ich beim Zurückgehen in die Liste nicht jedes Mal wieder komplett an den Anfange geworfen werde:
ich öffne Bilder/Profile immer in einem neuen Reiter.

Das ist natürlich nur im Internet Browser am Festrechner praktikabel.

Gibt es ne App, die diesen bekloppten Rückwärtssprung nicht macht, sondern dahin geht, wo man im Feed vorher war?

Can I check whether I get something wrong with using #pixelfed ?
Just the other day I signed up, on pixelfed.fr.

I find the experience (using Safari) rather disappointing. The photos load very slowly in any feed, and after 20 or so stop loading altogether.
If I click on one photo to enlarge and then go back to the feed, I’m at its beginning again. This is cumbersome.

The pixelfed app (iOS) is very buggy and close to unusable.

Am I missing something? I’d love to enjoy pixelfed!

Could use a hand here (boosts welcome): I'm looking for a dead-simple Docker compose file to get a Pixelfed instance up and running. I tried my hand at the official one, but I think even by their own admission it is not production-ready.
I'm also okay with "close enough" as long as the under-the-hood work isn't too much and/or well-documented.
Can anyone point me in the right direction?
