It's sometimes known as "paleoconservatism", and it should be no surprise that the popularity of the "paleo diet" culturally connects to this. </p><p>Conservatives, ever since the rise of modernity (end of 'traditional' society, end of monarchism and feudalism) have been trying to reinvent the past through pseudointellectual and pseudoscientific efforts. This has been at the heart of incredible amounts of suffering and horror since then. Sources obsolètes, bases théoriques non valides, rapports avec des pratiques signalées par la MIVILUDES... ➡️ Le Conseil National Professionnel des Psychomotriciens rejette fermement ces formations, c.f. l'avis ci-dessous, dans lequel on apprend qu'en moyenne, 60% d'entre nous présentons un réflexe archaïque persistant !</p><p>_</p><p>"Formations basées sur l’intégration des réflexes archaïques : Avis du Conseil National Professionnel des Psychomotriciens.</p><p>Le CNPP a été sollicité à plusieurs reprise par des psychomotriciens au sujet de la pertinence des formations sur les réflexes archaïques (aussi appelés réflexes primitifs). En effet, les offres de formation se multiplient, souvent accompagnées d’une démarche commerciale insistante.</p><p>Que ce soit dans le champ du développement personnel ou de celui des troubles neurodéveloppementaux pour ne citer qu'eux, les ouvrages, sites internet, articles de presse et autres formations destinées aux professionnels du médical et du paramédical, en lien avec les réflexes archaïques se sont largement développés ces dernières années (Intégration Motrice Primordiale, 2025 ; Sutherland, 2019 ; de Saint Voulry, 2022).</p><p>Le CNPP rappelle que la responsabilité première d’un professionnel de santé est de proposer aux personnes qui recourent à ses services des interventions de qualité, basées autant que possible sur des preuves, condition sine qua non pour assurer la sécurité des soins. Les psychomotriciens ne sauraient donc s’engager à se former ou à employer ce type de « méthodes » sans un minimum de circonspection et de vérification quant à la pertinence et la validité de ces dernières.</p><p>Or, la littérature scientifique nous apprend que la prévalence de ces réflexes archaïques non intégrés dans différentes populations est très importante. En moyenne, 60 % de la population générale présenteraient un réflexe archaïque persistant (Gieysztor et al. 2018 ; Jacobs & Gossman, 1980). Dans certaines études, le<br>pourcentage d’individus exempts de pathologies et présentant au moins un réflexe primitif non intégré atteint même les 90% (León-Bravo et al., 2023). Face à ce constat, il est aisé de comprendre que si les réflexes archaïques non intégrés étaient la cause de différents troubles ou de maladies, il faudrait revoir le concept même de santé. Dans les faits, ces approches ne sont absolument pas récentes, leurs sources remontant aux travaux de Dennison dans les années 1970 (Dennison & Dennison, 1994). Cependant, elles souffrent d’une absence totale de fondements théoriques valides et ne sont plus en phase avec les connaissances actuelles sur le cerveau ou le système nerveux de manière plus générale. Elles ont pour l’immense majorité une origine commune, la méthode Brain Gym® aussi appelée kinésiologie (Axelrad, 2024), pour laquelle le rapport de la MIVILUDES rappelle qu’elle « reçoit régulièrement des signalements concernant la pratique de la kinésiologie et de techniques associées (comme la Brain Gym® par exemple) », en plus d’être considérée comme une pseudoscience (Rapport MIVILUDES, 2009 ; Rapport INSERM, 2017). Most were mentally handicapped people or those with hereditary diseases.</p><p>"As Japan finally addresses this legacy, victims of forced sterilisation in <a href="https://kolektiva.social/tags/Peru" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Peru</span></a> are still fighting for compensation after 370,000 people were sterilised in what the UN has described as a potential crime against humanity. And in the <a href="https://kolektiva.social/tags/UnitedStates" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>UnitedStates</span></a>, <a href="https://kolektiva.social/tags/India" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>India</span></a>, <a href="https://kolektiva.social/tags/China" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>China</span></a> and parts of <a href="https://kolektiva.social/tags/Europe" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Europe</span></a>, non-consensual sterilisations continue to this day. </p><p>"As with the Nazis, almost all cases can be traced back to the discredited <a href="https://kolektiva.social/tags/PseudoScience" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>PseudoScience</span></a> of eugenics which was developed in the <a href="https://kolektiva.social/tags/UK" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>UK</span></a> at around the turn of the last century and had many supporters, including <a href="https://kolektiva.social/tags/WinstonChurchill" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>WinstonChurchill</span></a>. </p><p>"Japan’s Eugenic Protection Law was introduced in the wake of World War II. It granted medical institutions the right to administer sterilisations and abortions without the consent of patients. Of the 25,000 people sterilised under the programme, according to government figures only 8,000 gave consent. The legitimacy of the consent in these cases is disputed. </p><p>"A large number of the victims were children, some as young as nine years old. In Miyagi prefecture, in the northwest of the main island, more than half of the 859 sterilised between 1963 and 1981 were under the age of 18. </p><p>"At a press conference last month in Hyogo prefecture, a <a href="https://kolektiva.social/tags/DeafWoman" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>DeafWoman</span></a>, now in her 80s, described the emotional pain of being given an abortion without her consent. 'I was taken to the hospital, and I thought I would be going to the general medicine department.
