Samsung Canada reveals One UI 7 release date for S24 and Fold/Flip6

Telus has updated their software update schedule in their official forums to reflect latest information that they have just obtained directly from Samsung Canada. They have warned that “all dates are approximate and subject to change” when releasing schedules aimed at the future.

This piece of information, however, is very interesting as Samsung Canada has confirmed that they’d be releasing the official One UI 7 update to the following devices in April 11th:

  • Galaxy S24 series
  • Galaxy Z Fold6
  • Galaxy Z Flip6

This almost aligns with the official Samsung Newsroom announcement for Canadian users except that there is a one-day delay when it comes to release dates.

Darin sieht man dann nicht nur die Versuche der EU, die Anonymität im Internet gänzlich und zu Gunsten von #Überwachungsstaat und #Überwachungskapitalismis zu beerdigen, sondern wohl auch immer mehr Menschen zum Besitz von Smartphones zu zwingen. Dies wiederum entspringt wohl der Tendenz zur Zwangsdigitalisierung möglichst aller Lebensbereiche und Informationen, die in der Konsequenz dann nur noch per #Smartphone - und damit staatlich überwacht und kontrolliert - offen stehen sollen.

It's always the PinePhone or Librem mentioned whenever the subject of a Linux phone comes up and no one ever seems to bring up the Volla phone. One of the judges at our South Asia Awards in Delhi last weekend told me that his family were gripped by the drama about a teenage schoolboy in England who, influenced by the “manosphere,” murders a female student.1 While the universally acclaimed series might have further explored the harms posed by the manosphere (doi:10.1136/bmj.p2947),2 it makes us confront some difficult issues, themes that resonate powerfully around the globe. One of these is smartphone use by children and the access it gives them to social media. Where should we stand on this? Many of us began by viewing social media and smartphones as a force for good. The benefits, we imagined, outweighed the harms. And perhaps that’s still true …
