Hello everyone!

My partner @g1m01982 is a #TaylorSwift fanatic, but he's struggled to connect with other #Swifties on the #Fediverse. I am most assuredly *not* one, but I know how very passionate he is about the artist and the entire industry built around her; and he needs all the support and encouragement he can get as he struggles to recover from #PTSD and years of abuse without any #therapy or income.

What I did in the last weeks (part 1):

As my daugher listens to her a lot these days, I took some time and dug deep into #TaylorSwift and her complete discography. The only songs I knew where the ones my daughter listened and sang.

I must say, I am genuinely impressed. Sure, it's pop. But listening to all of the albums really shows a lot of interesting things.

First off, the first album is country. Each song written or co-written by a 15 year old, not only that is impressive. But it has some killer songs and killer melodies.

The second has some Avril-Lavigne-Vibes, but still killer melodies.

And so it goes on. Until the "1989" album all of the records are packed with melodies and catchy songs.

The danceable stuff after that album is not really my cup of tea, but still has some hits. "Cruel Summer" is genius.

10/10, can recommend. ;-)
