We notice @ternbicycles hasn’t posted on Mastodon about this, so we’re sharing this news with the Fediverse: Tern Bicycles has a new (Gen 3, 2025 model) Tern GSD, "Our Best Cargo eBike for Families.”

If our kids were still young, and budget allowed, we’d love to have one! Check them out: ternbicycles.com/en/bikes/473/ BTW, we got a kick out of clicking their day/night option—and that photo made us wish libraries had Terns for bookmobiles!

@ascentale A1 We're posting from rural unincorporated Monterey County, where we've lived since 1981 (despite again saying on 4/25/24 that we're from Salinas). montereycountynow.com/opinion/ Nope, never lived in our county seat and largest city, Salinas. We can only guess MCW continues to think so because we do like to bike there, and we've done much bike advocacy in Salinas over the past 15 years. bikemonterey.org/tips-for-tour

As to your question about any cycle-related milestones we've thought about lately, e.g., type of ride, we were thinking about that just today. Why? Because we sorely (pun appropriate!) need a new bike, and we'd love to have a NBD after seeing one at Sea Otter Classic last week. bikemonterey.org/scenes-from-s

At , we met a sales professional who showed an unusual level of respect for individual needs by listening attentively before selecting and showing us a product. That was Dale Aguas, sales director for Stile Products, Inc, an exclusive distributor of Tern Bicycles / @ternbicycles.

We were impressed by the Tern NBD for so many reasons—including, as Dale demonstrated—NBD’s FlatFold feature. Indeed “it makes it easy to fit the bike into , , RVs, and even smaller cars. Just lower the seatpost, fold down the Physis Handlepost, and the NBD transforms into a low and flat package….No necessary.” ternbicycles.com/en/bikes/471/
