Joyce LionaronsWell, the painter worked later today than he has any other day, and by doing so he's pretty much insured that he will finish the job tomorrow. All that is left is moving the wall's worth of floor-to-almost-ceiling bookcases, painting that wall and baseboards, and moving the bookcases back again. I think we need to take books off the shelves; he thinks he can move it all as it is. James DeVolWell...what an afternoon...was sitting here reading one of the new group of books I got at the library when I got a call from my dentist asking if I could come in today for the teeth removals since they had the whole afternoon open...so, of course, I ran over there and got the work done...but it took 2 1/2 hours when they only had one hour scheduled for Friday so that worked out well...and now I'm done until they do the scan for the dentures on Oct 6th...and that is a relief... <a href="https://mastodon.world/tags/today" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#today</a>

All of us are helping shake out the new lower environment for our big project.Also turns out it has been six weeks and leadership expects another update from my team, on Monday. I wasn't sure we'd have much to share but my work journal has reminded me we actually accomplished a good bit together even with the delays standing up our new lower envs.

I opened the windows earlier for the fresh air. But I'm kinda figuring that was a bad idea, with the air quality so bad. 🥵It's hotter than "all get out," and the tree pollen is "thicker than thieves."
