No, they're not going out and getting the millions needed to raise everyone's pay back to 2018 levels (in real dollars).Instead, they are pitting ~6,000 workers against each other for something like 40 awards worth $100-1000 dollars, and a few $5000 grand prizes.It's like saying a solution to systemic poverty would be to have a folks scramble to get on Oprah's show to get a one-off token gift.Chances are, you won't get an award.
