Jon Roach<p>Well that was a faff but not as frustrating as I expected 2 hours ago.</p><p>Old tyre came off fairly easily (not a given)!</p><p>Old tyre had so much old solid latex in it, that I suspect it prevented new liquid latex from reaching new punctures.</p><p>It was really easy to strip out the old latex and try again. But it turned out the old tyre really was that worn, as it had several holes that new sealant wouldn't plug, and nor would anchovies, to the point where the tyre wouldn't seat on the rim. Took that tyre off...</p><p>I suspected a fortnight ago the tyre was worn, so bought a new one. Ready in the cupboard to use.
