Shelving rock falls, located in Fort Ann NY. It is 50 feet high and located on the east side of lake George. It's not a very difficult hike but it is not easily accessible. It's quite a long ride around the lake to get to it. #WaterfallWednesday

The root cellar at Great Camp Sagamore. Sagamore is located on Sagamore Lake near Raquette Lake and was constructed between 1895-97 by William West Durant.

Durant and his craftsmen were the originators of the Adirondack style of architecture. This was the second great camp he built in the Adirondacks.

This is Rockwell falls on a foggy morning in Lake Luzerne NY. This isn't the easiest waterfall to get a photo of. It's on a bridge that gets a lot of traffic and it shakes as every car goes by so I opted to go early in the morning so there wasn't a whole lot of traffic. I would say waking up early and having a little patience paid off here. This was way back in 2010.

Sticking with the Ausable Chasm theme today. This is a view of Rainbow falls. Ausable Chasm is a privately owned place so there is an entry fee. However, there is a bridge to view the falls for free. You may have a hard time setting up a tripod though and finding a quiet time with no traffic as the bridge vibrates when cars go by. This shot is from one of the trails that you pay for.
