TV anachronisms: The opening titles to the TV show Tokyo Vice have a CRT (that is, an old computer display) with damage to the screen, that looks like a damaged LCD. Which is not what a damaged CRT looks like. (A CRT simply goes dark whe the vacuum is gone.)

Rewatching "The Crown" on Netflix, and I was bemused to see this #anachronism: John Lithgow as Prime Minister Winston Churchill, writing with what is clearly a modern Pelikan M200 #FountainPen. While Pelikan pens certainly did exist in 1952, they didn't look anything like that. The M200 is a currently produced model. But, I also wonder if a German pen was something that Mr. Churchill would ever have used, especially only 7 years after the end of the war.
