Turns out that the stingers are harpoons, which is why anemones are ‘sticky’. They don’t stick to #clownfish so the #seaanemones aren’t triggered to close.
How do #clownfish signal the anemone not to close? It seems like there’s more to their relationship than just being immune to the sting cells.
