The city spent the very $100k marked for affordable #housing on lawyers to fight a YIMBY lawsuit because of the city’s noncompliance with state law to increase affordable housing in the city.

I also have to say that San Jose Spotlight is one of the very few bright spots in local news coverage, and I encourage everyone to read and support them.

I don't go to #WholeFoods often, so I don't know whether this is new: there's now a “dosatetia,” with made-to order dosas, samosas, lassis, wraps, and various kinds of sauces. It looks like they're using “dosa” as a brand name, as well as a simple description of what they're selling.

I wonder whether this is just #Cupertino, where there's a large Indian-American community, or if it's everywhere.

We had another incredible #TransitMeetup tonight! Thank you to everyone who made it out to DTSJ. We were lucky to have some folks from @vta and #CalHSR stop by too!

We’ll have our next meetup in January, and until then we want to encourage everyone to reach out to their elected officials to let them know that #VTA is doing a great job, we’re excited about the future transit changes and improvements, and that we want to see more support from elected for VTA and transportation projects.

I’m ecstatic to say that @monicamallon and I have created a new transit advocacy group: SCC4Transit! We’re working to get the word out about the great work that VTA, BART, Caltrain, and all the transit operators in Santa Clara County are doing!
