The AM1021 is a sequential switch, able to take the 3 outputs of the 1027 sequencer and combine them sequentially. Thus you can have up to 24 steps frrom the 3 x 8 sequences from the #arp2500 1027 #eurorack #module

It does this in very little hp space. The mix sequencer 1050 can also do that, but you can't use it for other functions, such as another sequencer or two or mixer. It gives the control row more flexibility. #modularsynth #sequencer #dawless #music

The main purpose of this auxiliary row of #eurorack #modules is to sequence notes CVs and modulation CVs for my 2600. S&H & LFOs are great for some modulations, but sometimes you need specific voltages in a specific sequence. Enter the #behringer #arp2500 1027 Clocked Sequential Control Module. It can sequence 3 different groups of up to 8 steps (position gates allows resetting the sequence at any step, although on all 3 sequences at once).

More than 8 steps? see next

That looks like nothing, but that is the back of my auxiliary modules for the 2600 #semimodular #synth. I needed all the 2hp space of this 19" #eurorack rails, so I put the power supply in the back. The rails are slotted for square nuts only on the front, so I tapped some 3mm threads in the back so I could mount some standoffs, and mount the eurorack power supply to them.

I ended up assembling my own sequencer from modules. I kind of tried to avoid this, as this is expensive, slow, and needs lots and lots of planning and trial and error. But in the end, there wasn't anything like this available as a ready-made thing, so. For the record, Frap Tools USTA comes very, very close, but I like this UI better.

My problems began with tempos. I often use slow tempos, as in several seconds per beat. This is solvable, but... 1/2
