The response: " Oh, sorry - we didn't realize we couldn't make our share price targets if we actually changed our business to reduce and other environmental impacts. So we'll have to back off our commitments to be responsible."

Maybe we need strict and on reducing GHGs? FWIW, regulations level the playing field - they switch the competitive advantage of not taking to a disadvantage (and might actually encourage creativity in the marketplace)
