Working on an <a href="https://sfba.social/tags/ionic" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>ionic</span></a> <a href="https://sfba.social/tags/vue" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>vue</span></a> web page. Nothing complicated. A text label was getting clipped behind a toolbar. A simple solution: add some vertical padding to the CSS on top and it pops right down. Easy peasy. Right?</p><p>Went to the <a href="https://sfba.social/tags/AI" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>AI</span></a> mavens, just for fun, and HOLY CRAP!They propose an entire revised view hierarchy. Utter chaos. Massive changes across multiple files. I&#39;m staring at it, literally 😱</p><p>It&#39;s like your &#39;coding partner&#39; turning into a meth-addled conspiracy theorist. I&#39;m thinking a newbie in a similar position is going to click &#39;accept&#39; and end up hating life. This is where we are.</p>
