jesswell, I was going to assemble my floor <a href="https://petrous.vislae.town/tags/loom" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#loom</a> as much as you can without a warp on, but I discovered some more wood damage on one of the gables. it's in a spot where I should be able to carefully carve the chip out and sand it smooth and it shouldn't cause any issues weaving. 🤞🏼 not a today project, though.

jessI was kind of annoyed that the packers taped directly on the wood of my loom instead of wrapping it in furniture pads like professional packers have done in the past, but it looks like it all came off ok without damage. LichenFinished this wrap a while ago but haven't been in a posting mood 'til now. This is 36 ends per inch in wool. The final length was a bit shy of two yards. I gave it to a friend who's helped me though some really difficult times recently, and it felt so good to give her a physical manifestation of my time, care, and attention. I'm excited about weaving more fine fabric like this.
