Lastly don't sulk or moan about being corrected. It's rarely if ever done maliciously and if it makes your Gaelic better, you're the winner in the long run. And don't put any writing in print or online without having it checked by someone whose literacy you trust. From the moment you embark, you're on a learning journey until your dying day, and it doesn't hurt to check your ego now and again, either.

I told another couple of people at work that I am autistic and they didn't seem surprised or hugely curious. I think I have built telling people to be the size of a cow but it's actually just a slightly interesting factoid for them.

At dinner this evening my daughter mentioned that in something she watched someone got shocked and horrified reactions to saying they were autistic.
"So ridiculous, it's only autism, it's not like they have stage 4 cancer!" She's 9, and probably autistic.

I feel like this is me, at least a few times a week.

"Sasson and colleagues, in 2017 for example, found that neurotypical people quickly and subconsciously identified that a stranger is autistic, often within milliseconds of meeting them. They don't realise that they have identified the person as autistic, though. They just think the autistic person is 'weird'.

Participants in the study were less interested in engaging in conversation with autistic people and liked them less than non-autistics. All based on a brief moment of social data.

It is important to point out that the autistic people in this study didn't do anything wrong. Their behaviour was perfectly socially appropriate, as was the content of their speech. Though they tried their damnedest to present as neurotypical, their performance had some key tells and was just slightly off and they were disliked because of it."

Ich würde gerne von denjenigen die interessiert sind wissen, was ihr euch vorstellt wie soll euer SafeSpace aussehen ?

Was braucht ihr ? Barrierefreiheits Tools ?

Und würdet ihr Instancen lieber Blacklisten oder Whitelisten ?

Blacklist = Schädliche Instancen werden Blockiert
Whitelist = Gute Instanzen werden erlaubt

Beides hat vor und nachteile, wehre schön wenn diejenigen sich mal Gedanken machen würden wie ihr SafeSpace aussehen soll, ich Persönlich lege viel wert auf eine sehr einfache Bedienung und UI.
