So i got my septum gauged up and repierced... I was the first piercing of the day for the poor piercer. Major shout out to them for keeping calm and getting me through it intact even if there was a little torture involved lol. Also do any other praise based creatures feel so special and bwave when a tattoo artist or piercer tells u u did well???

They were kind enough to throw in two extra pairs! In both images, I bought the ones on the left, and received the ones on the right as a gift. My wife prefers the gifted pairs over my choices, go figure.
Apparently after 8mm, that's the point of no return for stretching holes. In other words, my septum hole, now at 8.5mm (going to 10mm!!!), will likely never fully close. And that's okay!
Well, my beloved followers, I must apologize for leaving you all in suspense. You must all have been wondering and concerned about the status of my bellybutton piercing, and I bring grim news: tonight I will be removing it.
Fear not, it is not the end. I'll have to try again another day. For the first time in my life, a piercing is rejecting. I know because the length of the bar sticking out is the same as it was when it was 2mm longer. I'll have to get something else to replace it, perhaps a labret or ears, I dunno.
I am not happy.
There's an amazing pair of earrings on etsy that I want, and they're only $23.
However, because they're being shipped from the USA, the shipping cost is $33.
I'm in a quandary, because I would pay $56 for these earrings (not happily, but I probably would..) if I found them here, but I also have a personal rule that I refuse to pay more for shipping an item than the item itself costs.
So, do I eat the rule this time and get the earrings? Or do I stand by the rule and do without?
My new piercings seem to be healing pretty well. The right ear is doing slightly better than the left one, but that is undoubtedly due to me thwapping it as I took my mask off after picking up dog food yesterday.
