Wattle tree 🌳 30 years old has finally dried out and died so upper brown branches cut off for safety as likely to snap off in high winds. Tree trunk is lighter brown and creamy yellow with many holes from 🐛 bugs 🐜 ants harvesting under bark. morning light reflects off upper trunk. Birds use as a roost, look out / rest site on flight route around trees 🌲 in the area.

“From Below” looking up through pomegranate - round, pink, hard skinned fruit - tree to pruned back wattle tree … possums have been chewing into the pomegranates so the sweet pink “pellet” fruit inside exposed to air and insects too.

Pomegranate Fattoush

Scatter salad over toasted pitta

2 toasted pitta bread
2 tbsp EV olive oil
1 tsp oregano

500g tomatoes
1 small cucumber
6 spring onions
Parsley bunch
6 radishes
1 cos lettuce
1 tsp sumac

Dress:
1 tbsp pomegranate molasses
1 lemon
garlic clove
½ pomegranate
