George Ellenburg (he/him/his)<p>Holy crap. Somehow auto-renew was turned off for most of my <a href="https://bofh.social/tags/domains" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#domains</a> at <a href="https://bofh.social/tags/Cloudflare" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#Cloudflare</a> and pretty much all of my domains had <a href="https://bofh.social/tags/expired" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#expired</a> and some were in the <a href="https://bofh.social/tags/redemption" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#redemption</a> <a href="https://bofh.social/tags/period" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#period</a><span> and others were in the late redemption period.<br><br>Let's just say </span><a href="https://bofh.social/tags/restoring" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#restoring</a><span> a domain that is in the late redemption period is FUCKING EXPENSIVE.<br><br>Fuck me. But I would have lost everything. My email. Logins. All of my fedi instances. Everything.<br><br>Now to figure out how auto-renew got turned off.<br><br>And the only reason I knew anything was up was because let's encrypt told me it couldn't renew the cert for one of my rarely used domains.<br><br>Domain renewal fee: $10.44<br>Redemption Restoration Fee: $44.00 (!)</span></p>
