EighthLayerSo something I wasn’t expecting I’d be doing tonight. I wanted to sit down and play some Satisfactory on my ROG Ally and chill. Instead, I’ve just had to reinstall Bazzite. I haven’t been able to update it for ages for whatever reason (it kept saying “An error was encountered during the update process, please try again”), so I was considering rebuilding it anyway, but I got bunch of errors randomly and had to reboot every time, so I just decided to do it now anyway. I’m going away next week so didn’t want it to mess up whilst on holiday where there would be nothing I could do about it. Anyway, now it’s reinstalled, the SteamOS elements on screen look really zoomed in and there doesn’t seem to be a way to natively change the resolution and/or zoom in the settings. Just make sure to disable compatibility mode for all users on both the binaries and set joystick mapping to default.

WTangoFoxtrotDropped my <a href="https://sfba.social/tags/rogally" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#rogally</a> from a table and smashed the joysticks. Realized how easily this thing is to repair after opening it to take a look. Spent $14 on eBay to get replacement joysticks and after 20mins it was up and running again!The <a href="https://sfba.social/tags/repairability" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#repairability</a> of this design is amazing.
