I'd hazard this one was dropped because:

They paid for Denuvo, and they ended up with 145 all-time reviews on #Steam (at the time of removal)

Intravenous II is celebrating over 100,000 copies sold in #PCGaming, with over 2,000 reviews now.

It's a great little stealth game, and you might remember the first being given away everywhere like #GOG some months back

It has been 8 months since the release of the game and we have reached over 2,000 reviews and, as of writing this post, 105,000 sales here, on Steam! By comparison it took the first game 18 months to reach 100,000 sales. For me personally this is a giant accomplishment. I have put a ton of effort into the game, and to see you, the players, recognize that, is incredibly heartwarming.

It's done, finished! The final Baldur's Gate 3 content update is here along with a special animated short to mark the occasion. As expected, is a rather large enhancement to the game with some very long patch notes.
