That's a pretty limited setup with the small battery won't do 28 or haul much weight uphill without help, but might get you there without sweat if you cruise at 15mph (I'm running a 20in on my <a href="https://urbanists.social/tags/supercargo" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>supercargo</span></a> -- works well enough that I just keep riding it instead of trying to finish that build how I imagined with 2 motors)</p>
😀🚲<p>Having had an <a href="https://urbanists.social/tags/edgeRunner" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>edgeRunner</span></a> longtail and *then* a bakfiets aka "box bike" <a href="https://urbanists.social/tags/superCargo" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>superCargo</span></a> has been a slightly backwards journey from what's probably typical for bike parents, but I doubt we would have ridden the infants around in the suburbs and the longtail is way more agile, squeezing between stopped car traffic and bumping up a curb is maybe doable without putting a foot down (if it's 6in or less for me), vs being a matter of leverage and quite an ordeal with the box bike.</p>
😀🚲<p>I think I've heard at least a hundred kids react to their first time seeing the <a href="https://urbanists.social/tags/supercargo" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>supercargo</span></a>, or two people on a bike, their jaws just hanging open, it never gets old.</p>
