Computers with trackpads should ALWAYS have physical click buttons. 3 is good; 5 is better; 9 leaves a finger for the pad, is therefore optimal for 10-fingered users. But trackpads should not be the button.</p><p>2. But if you're going to make the <a href="https://mastodon.scot/tags/trackpad" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>trackpad</span></a> a button make it ONE button like a MacBook* NOT 3 virtual buttons like <a href="https://mastodon.scot/tags/Lenovo" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Lenovo</span></a>. This creates enough location errors to kill people, not just through raised <a href="https://mastodon.scot/tags/bloodPressure" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>bloodPressure</span></a>.</p><p>(* May not apply to post-2012 MacBooks, don't know.)</p>
